The singer's popularity increased through the three albums that followed - Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift was now firmly established within a genre where she belonged. However, even when she reduced her style with the 2020's stripped-down siblings' folklore and Evermore she continued to be atop of the pop world a position she maintained with re-recordings of her older catalogs as well as Midnights which was her top-charting synthesizer 2022 set.
